This collective is born from a vision of compassion, kindness, and a commitment to making our community and world a better place, just as my mother, Patricia Yell Nelson – Mrs. Nelson to many – did in her lifetime. Mrs. Nelson was a beloved teacher & mother who dedicated over 32 years to shaping young minds and hearts. Her warmth and dedication left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. This foundation carries forward her legacy, aiming to inspire change and compassion in Bedford Co. and beyond. Through the Nelson Legacy Foundation, we will work together on projects that lift up those in need, support all things local, and foster a spirit of inclusivity and kindness. Every month, we’ll have new ways for you to get involved, lend a hand, or simply spread love in your own way. We aim to create a ripple effect of positive change.
